The Doctoral College
The Doctoral College of the University of Lille, established in 2010, leads and coordinates the 8 regional thematic Doctoral Schools. It brings together around 2,500 PhD students from the University of Lille, Centrale Lille Institut, IMT Nord Europe, the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France and the Université Gustave Eiffel. Its main objectives are: to offer excellent training and high-quality supervision for PhD students, to strengthen interdisciplinarity and internationalisation, to prepare PhD students for their careers by deepening the links between academia and the socio-economic world, and to promote and showcase the doctorate.
It organises several events to showcase the skills of PhD students and doctors and to grow their professional network.
The Graduate Programmes
The Graduate Programmes offer Master's and PhD students an immersion in a high-level research environment, allowing them to acquire the key skills to tackle the interdisciplinary challenges of several thematic areas:
- – Precision Health
- – Science for a Changing Planet
- – Information and Knowledge Society
- – Changing Cultures, Societies and Practices.
The Graduate Programmes allow students to join research-focused training around these major scientific and societal themes, in a stimulating, competitive and innovative international context.
Through this fair, the Graduate Programmes aim to raise Master's students' awareness of the PhD journey and its career outcomes.
